Image restoration & collage design
Professors’ Memorial Collage
The project involved restoring and upscaling archival photographs of late professors, then arranging them into a commemorative collage that was printed on plexiglass and installed as a wall display for a Greek organisation.

About the project
This project centred on transforming a collection of aged, low-resolution portraits into a high quality collage. AI image generation was used to upscale, restore and clean each photograph while preserving the professors’ recognisable likenesses. Further retouching was completed both manually and with AI to reconstruct and extend cropped areas of clothing and the body, ensuring every portrait could be positioned naturally within the final composition.
The restored images were then balanced and arranged into a unified collage, prepared in Adobe InDesign for printing on plexiglass and installation as a wall display.
